This year LHS students of French had the opportunity to host French exchange students from France.  The students, Nathaël Bekier et Auxane Hamon, attend a school called Institution Notre Dame de Sannois.  Sannois is located just 25 minutes outside of Paris and the students are studying the equivalent of our sophomore year here in the U.S.  Jessica Ortiz and Julia Hanson are Madame Sinibaldi’s French 2B students and they each hosted the boy and the girl.  Here is our class picture after their 2 week stay with us, during which we practiced French every day and learned about the student’s lives in France!  We really enjoyed having them in class and were very sad to see them go.  We hope to continue hosting with the organization FACES, which sets up home stay, cultural exchanges and trips to the USA and France for students aged 14-18.
