Perfect Game for Ashley Weiler
Our coaching staff would like to congratulate Ashley Weiler for pitching a perfect game on Thursday against Carondolet High. Our team won by a score of 7 to 0, however, the big story is Ashley faced 21 batters and got all 21 out in 7 innings. She had no hits, no runs scored, no walks, no hit batters and our team had no errors. On top of that Ashley had 14 strikeouts.
A perfect pitched game is extremely rare in softball at any level, but especially at the high school varsity level. Our coaches are so proud of Ashley and her remarkable accomplishment today and want to ensure she gets recognized at school for this incredible feat!
Sincerely, Coach Larry Bird
